Welcome to Bridgeview Animal Hospital!

Our custom saltwater aquarium is the centerpiece of our lobby....and houses our "mascots"!  Stop by and visit our Yellow Tang, husband and wife Clown Fish, our Red Back Shrimp, our 5 Hermit Crabs, our Starfish and our Sea Urchin...along with our coral and living rock from Fiji.  It has beocme quite a conversation piece for kids and adults alike!  New sea creatures arrive every week....stop by to see our latest addition!

Our Lobby and Reception area.  A warm and welcome area for all our clients and their pets....with seperate sides of the waiting area for dogs and cats....just in case!  Stop in for a cup of coffee and enjoy Animal Planet or Headline News on our satellite TV while you wait.  Our staff has over 65 years of combined veterinary experience...be sure to ask plenty of questions while you are visiting our office!

Our Surgical Suite with the latest in Pulse Oximetry and Digital ECG and Blood Pressure monitoring of all surgical patients...as well as any pet on anesthesia.  We also utilize multiple types of anesthesia, tailored to your individual pet's needs.  We use Propofol, Isofluorane, Sevofluorane, and many other injectable and inhalation anesthetics for our patients undergoing anesthesia.  We do a complete physical examination and pre-anesthetic evaluation of EVERY patient prior to anesthesia...and then custom taylor the anesthesia to match the health and needs of the patient and the procedure.  During every anesthesia and surgery, a nurse, specially trained in anesthesia and surgical assisting, remains by your pets side during the entire procedure, monitoring their vital signs and assisting Dr. Graves with the procedure.  After any surgical procedure, pain medications are utilized to give your pet a safe and comfortable recovery.

All Digital X-ray is utilized in our Radiology Suite.  This is state-of-the-art technology and we are the 20th hospital in the nation to have this machine!  We are able to take x-rays of your pet in 6 seconds at lower x-ray exposure levels with digitial imaging versus traditional film technology.  After we image your pet, we are able to send the x-rays home with you on CD so you can see exactly what we see at the office!

Our treatment, surgical preparation, surgical recovery, and intensive care areas are all constantly monitored by a trained nurse for the very best in care and safety for your pet, while in our care.  At the far end of the room, you will notice our IN HOUSE DIAGNOSTIC LABORATORY where we are able to get  blood chemistry profiles, pre-surgical blood profiles, complete urinalysis, and complete blood counts in a matter of minutes.  Also you will notice the sink-tables on the right side of the photo.  Those custom tables allow us to perform your pet's dental cleaning and dental exams (which by the way should be done at least once a year on all pets...dogs and cats!) while keeping their head, face, and mouth clean and dry.

The examination rooms feature lift tables with built in scales for accurate weight monitoring of your pet's weight gain and loss.  The custom silent lift technology enables us to raise you pet to eye level for a more thorough examination.  This system is wonderful for those older, larger breed dogs such as Golden Retrievers and Labs that get stressed by being picked up for an examination....and allows us to do a more complete evalauation of your pet's condition, while providing for a less stressful situation for your pet.  You will find that most all of our patients LOVE to come back for their next visit!
